Trumpian failures have reignited the flames of America's finest hours
By Andrew L. Pate
In their flagrant lies and unfounded conspiracies, Trumpians have been revealed for who they are: despicable traitors.
They have worn fine clothes. They have held fancy titles. But they can no longer hide. Truth has unclothed them, and their nakedness is ugly.
They were successful deceivers for a while. And fooled a lot of people.
As P.T. Barnum is said to have said, "one is born every minute," meaning in 2020, that most fools born since 1930 have gone down with Dr. Orangehair.
Slap-dab in the middle of the horrendous Covid-19 pandemic of 2020, Donald J. Trump has been exposed for the thug he is. His mannerisms, his programs, his ideas, his family members, his staunchest backers - all these signs and individuals have revealed to us, beyond any reasonable doubt, that Trumpism has done its worst to destroy America and . . .
It has failed.
America may be crippled economically for a while; its youth, its young businesses, and its jobless, left to struggle to hang on. But they will, most of them; they will make it through. And they are already showing us how: They are helping one another. They are abiding by the sound rules of good conduct and assured safety. They are praying together. Americans who truly like themselves, they are turning their backs on the man Gertrude Stein described as an "accidental" president.
To Trump's horror, the polls are turning against him. His every attempt to smear the reputations of Obama and Biden are mostly being ignored, those smears shown to be the last bitter grunts of men and women from whom decency has disappeared and for whom there is no lasting legacy to which they may longingly cling, only utter humiliation.
Donald J. Trump, this weak shell of a man has disgraced the USA every minute he has been in office.
Trumpians elected him, they said, because they were fed up with the black man responsible for Obamacare.
Sadly, and pitifully, Trump is a totally irresponsible white man with no "care" in him. Ask the crippled newsman he made fun of on national television.
God help him.
And thank you, Jesus, for helping us see the Light.
