In his third year as Sabinal AD/HFC, Jeff Kowalski is a favorite for "Coach of the Year" in this division. The Yellowjackets are undefeated (11-0) going into the Area round and are favored over Falls City by four (4) points. South Texas fans know well that Kowalski has no fear: last year he scheduled the well-experienced Refugio Bobcats in a Week 3 matchup and lost 78-0. Clearly, he and his team have learned through experience.
