Lovelady Tops in 2A Softball, Week of March 28 ’22, Stamford Defending
Crawford, Stamford, Floydada, Ganado - in that order - all trailed #1 Lovelady among this weeki's top 5 2A softball teams, as polled by the Texas High School Girls Coaches Association.
Competition has stiffened around the state, with one of the most competitive games pitting #19 Falls City (6-0) against # 12 Refugio (12-4), with the Lady Beavers rallying in a strong coastlal wind to defeat the Lady Cats Tuesday evening, 12-11.
Stamford is the defending 2A champion.
